Hello freedivers,
yesterday we went to the quarry of Lessines with a bunch of experienced and less experienced freedivers. Among the latters, Jessica, Laurence, Gilles and Kevin could discover the fun of open water freediving in the beautifull quarry of Lessines!
I took them for a ride assisted by An (thank you again by the way!) while Wouter, Thierry, Vincent and Fabrice on the one hand, and Inge, Magalie and Cédric on the other hand, took their buoys to the West part of the quarry.
Then after working on some basics techniques all the groups joined first at the mini sailing ship to have some fun and also to perform a specific photo session for Fabrice.
Then the group moved to the "railway track" and even for myself there was something new since I could see for the very first time the second car hanging down there around -25m deep. Congrats again to Gilles for making it downthere for the very first time!
Water temperature was very nice at the surface (a bit less than 20°C) and we could have more than 1h30 freediving session.
Then we could enjoy a nice "croque-monsieur-Trompeuse" and we could also tast a delicious cake brought and baked by Magalie!
Thanks to everyone again for coming!
Next session is August, 27th for me ;-)
Felice
