Hello freedivers,
a couple of weeks ago, we went to the new quarry of Lessines a.k.a "Raph quarry". I was nicely surprised by the big group of freedivers! Check the group picture below!
Lucikly this quarry is huge! We split in different groups totalling 7 or 8 buoys. Brigitte, Emine, Ilde, Isalyne and Pilar went with me and we practiced basic skills as well the use of lanyards. Finally we had a lot of fun at the nice metallic structure including steps. It surely reminds me the trail and the "mafia car" from old Lessines!
I also quickly made a video when going down to the bottom of that structure around -17m. I just noticed that it has been 2 years since my last video...time flies...So I may have lost some of my mojo to make these ^^.
It was a great time and I foresee a new session at Lessines on September 20th. If you are interested to join, please let me know, meeting is fixed at old Lessines at 10.15am.
Sea you,
Felice
PS: By the way, you don't have to wait for me to go freedive there, you can always book a spot by contacting EPSM president Marc Allemeersch ;-).
