Hi freedivers!
yesterday we had a great day at the quarry of Lessines. I said "day" and not only session because the freediving session was followed by a very nice moment where UF people and EPSM could enjoy a very nice BBQ party!
The quarry was beautiful and I had a great time together with Arnaud, Eddy, Jeremy, Laurence, Anneke, Thierry, Olivier, Rémy, Dieter, Istvan, Thibault, Guillaume, Paul, Sandra and Isabelle...and many more :D

Great team for this 6 years anniversary of UF
Concerning the title...indeed 6 years ago, the very first post of Universal Freedivers was posted and since then, the aficionados of our way of freediving increased every year!
Why is it so?
I'm not sure...maybe because we just freedive :D
Each time I feel so blessed to see so many happy faces!
Still concerning the title...I menioned "airborne" because Gyome brought his brand new toy that allows amazing shots from the air...The movie will come out very soon :-)

In the water we split into various groups, praticing free immersion, constant weight and sled diving. Paul practiced his training skills and also completed the 5*20m stamina test for his AIDA instructor course!

After 1h30 session, we had to stop because the aperitif was waiting for us! Indeed great work by Alysson and her team to serve us delicious meal and drinks :D.

I would like to give a special thank to Anneke who came up with this BBQ idea...I'm afraid this will become an additional yearly UF event :D.
Unfortunately Andy could not be there because of his work as a military protecting us but I'm sure he is as happy as me to be surrounded by such a bunch of nice people!
My next activity will be in Transfo on October, 22nd.
Next sessions in the quarry of Lessines are November 5th and December 3rd.
