Hi freedivers,
big session last Sunday in the quarry of Lessines, 4 freediver's buoys on the lift, that was never seen before I think :D.
EPSM Bruxelles was happy to welcome a new face like Mike..nearly new faces like Frank and Tom...old faces like Fliety, Thierry, Vincent and Anneke...undead faces like Paulo, Fil and myself :D.
And, oh yes, Isalyne from EPSM Bruxelles like me who joined us for this freediving session. Many thanks to her ^^.
Together with Anneke, we took care of Isalyne while Paulo took care of Mike and Frank, Vincent and Thierry teamed up, likewise Tom and Dieter went together to the sunny side of the quarry.
About 30 minutes before the end of this almost 2 hours session, Fliety came to me because he was ready to finish the open water requirements for his AIDA assistant instructor course. Loss of mask at -20m, loss of a fin at -20m, rescue from -15m with a single fin and last but not least, rescue from -20m with 50m tow at the surface including rescue breath. He perfectly executed all these requirements! Proud of you buddy!
At the end, we had to leave these wonderful waters (17°C at the surface...about 10°C in depth :p) but we could all meet for a snack and a drink at the nice club cafetaria ^^
Next session in Lessines is July 29th for me!
Cheers,
Feli
