Hi Freedivers,

this one post will be in English as I will try to be as Universal as possible :-). I said busy week because it started last Friday with the AIDA 2 stars course at Inge's premises. Indeed she was kind enough to let me give the course in her shop and try my brandnew projector :D. Nice place to visit by the way if you are interested in Metal Clay jewelry

Ewa, Inge and Karolien are happy to follow the course :D.

Afterwards we went to the swimming pool in Beveren. Last week session was about static. This session, we practiced dynamic. Jeroen was also there to watch us and make some movies for finning technique and body positioning analysis.

Everything went wel for both swimming pool sessions and on Sunday we could go for the second open water session. In the quarry in Lessines, we were joined by Georgio, Eric S., Eric G., Christophe, Dimitri, Jeroen and for the first time, Pieter. The group selfie is not that great due to too much light in the background (dawn good weather!)...Luckily, Ewa-no-selfie-no-fun was there :D.

I took Karolien, Ewa and Inge with me. Eric G. together with Eric S. took care of Christophe while Jeroen, Dimitri, Georgio and Pieter went to the South part of the quarry to try to catch some sun :-).

Our AIDA2 session was not optimal for Ewa and Karolien who experienced hear problems but besides that, the girls made significant technical improvement. Concerning Inge, she could completed the open water part of the course!

I have to admit that Ewa passed me the Wide-Angle-selfie virus!

Then it was time to exit the water and to go for the theory exam...But first an unexpected surprise came out (ok a surprise is always unexptected :D) because Inge prepared cupcakes and brownies to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Universal Freedivers!

Everybody was in a very good mood, so the time for the theory exam could come...but still taking it very seriously...especially during the exam correction!

Having fun but taking it seriously ^^ (Photo by Inge Verbruggen).

And everybody passed the theory! So congratulation to Ewa, Inge and Karolien!

Another good news came from Eric Gerritsma who decided to join the Universal Freedivers team! Welcome on board Eric! Sure that we will have plenty of fun in the water and outside :D.

Thanks again Inge and welcome to the team Eric!
